A two-day meeting of the World Bank led by the Task Team Leader, TTL – Dr. Manievel Emmanuel Sene has been held with the implementing teams of the Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS) Project at National and State levels in Abuja.
The Meeting, which was also attended by World Bank Officials including Co-TTL, Dr. Adetunji Oredipe; the TTL for Implementation Completion Result Report (ICR) – Dr. Oyedikachi Chidozie Anyiro; National Project Coordinator – Alhaji Mohammed Sani Jobdi, NCO Management Members, State Project Coordinators and M&E Officers of all six participating states, was to develop and validate a very focus and time-bound action plan for the project closing, building on the main findings of the 8th Implementation Support Mission (ISM) and the field visits.
Key issues addressed by the meeting include Project Implementation Status and Results; Ownership of the Project by States; Budget Support and Counterpart Funding; Key Achievements, Sustainability and Scalability of Interventions; Overall Exit Strategy and Sustainability Plan; Challenges/Risks and Mitigation Actions; Key Challenges/Issues and Priority Activities for Closure etc.
